Top 10 news sources

Published on 22 September 2025 at 14:25

Here is a list of ten of my favourite news outlets, presented in no particular order. Since 2020, the importance of following credible news sources has become increasingly apparent, making it useful to compile a selection of trustworthy outlets. While it is always possible for a news organisation to make mistakes or exhibit certain biases, the following sources represent, at the very least, the 'least unreliable' options, especially when considering the vast amount of genuinely unreliable news that exists beyond this list. The criteria used to select these outlets include independence (while adhering to general standards), statistical validity (sample size), rigorous fact-checking, minimisation of "publish or perish," and a commitment to neutrality.
